Waste Water Treatment

CCC's Phenox Phenoloxidase Technology can be used to remove phenolics dissolved in waste water. Phenoloxidase is an enzyme from soybean  which solidifies  contaminantes into a sediment.

CCC is working together with Dr. Keith Taylor [1] from U of Windsor to use an enzyme  for cleantech industrial wastewater treatment applications serving mid-size chemical manufacturers with aromatic compounds in their production process and wastewater. The Phenox logo represents a phenol molecule with three (red) hydroxyl groups (-OH) attached at the one, two, and four positions. This enzyme is made from plants, a renewable, sustainable bioproduct. We offer specialized waste water treatment applications, which require strong expertise which we have available.
